It emphasizes the growing consideration given to renewable energy sources as a practical substitute for fossil fuels in response to the country's rising energy needs and worries about climate change. The study analyses the policies and incentives in place to encourage the growth of renewable energy and looks at the country's progress to date in meeting its renewable energy goals. It also addresses the obstacles faced in adopting renewable energy, such as financing, technical capacity, and regulatory barriers, and explores potential solutions including appropriate financing mechanisms, effective regulatory frameworks, and grid integration. The final section of the paper discusses the prospects for renewable energy in Bangladesh, highlighting the possible advantages it could have for the country's economy, environment, and energy security. 2023 IEEE.
