Five GPT types and locations will be selected from different tributaries of Klang River and the coordinates of location is get from Google Earth. The samples for inlet and outlet of GPTs are collected from five different locations. Laboratory test is carried out to get water quality parameters of the water samples. The five parameters will be main water quality parameters e.g. PH values, COD, BOD, TSS, DO and NH3-N. At last, water quality result among inlet and outlet of five different locations will be compared and analyzed to determine the removal efficiency and WQI of GPTS. As a conclusion for the study, site condition of GPTs had been observed and water samples had been collected from inlet and outlet of GPT. GPTs were evaluated using water quality index (WQI) and removal efficiency of GPT at outlet had been determined. The study shows that GPTs does not really good at improving the water quality of water.
