The design process was started off with the background study of the product. The background study is the state of art review of the field of study, including the current developments, controversies and breakthroughs, previous research and relevant background theory. The design process continues with producing project planning toformalize the process in order for a product to be developed in a timely and cost effective manner. The project planning is done by producing the Gantt Chart.Specification of design will then be established. The specification development initial state is to translate customers' requirements into a technical description of what needs to be designed. Building the morphology is the next step which includes in the conceptual design.Morphology is defined as the study of the forms of things. The techniques for choosing the best of the concepts are explored for the development into products through concept evaluation. Product development of the hemodialysis machine is the last phase in the report sequence. It focusses on further analysis and discussion on the new improved machine. A lightweight and portable hemodialysis machine is viewed as a new solution to future dialysis patients. Dialysis is a process of being connected to a machine, three times a week and four hours per treatment, in order to filter the blood from waste and excess water. Hence with the new improved design machine, it is hoped that the patients can still undergo normal life while get treated with hemodialysis. 2024-10-07T04:26:14Z 2024-10-07T04:26:14Z 2012 Resource Types::text::Final Year Project https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/33725 en application/pdf |
