The mobile robot platform will be suitable used as a universal platform together with other devices and extra component to operate in outdoor. The mobile robot platform has been designed and selected to be used for an outdoor agricultural purpose and should has the ability to improve rough surface mobility. And then it must possess an ability to work and perform associated tasks in this specific field. The mechanical design and development process is the requirement for the purpose of the project. Based on the mechanical process the selected mobile robot platform has been designed by using the Creo Parametric 2.0 software. The working prototype of the mobile robot has been fabricated and then several testing procedures are conducted.
