One disturbing circumstance is the increase of pollution and environmental change as a consequence of carbon dioxide discharge from concrete assembling to the climate. This project aims to determine an optimal mix design for environment-friendly bacteria block without using cement. Instead bacteria from clay and polluted sand from rivers will be used under the control of the use of urea, calcium and water. The bacteria Block specimens are (100*100*100) mm and there were four sets of parameters, parameters of water, clay, urea and calcium. Each set have four deferent content so a total number of blocks are 16 to be tested. Tests were done are Compressive test, Schmidt hammer test and water absorption test for the optimal compressive strength of bacteria block. The best compressive strength result was found after 28 days of dry curing is 1.83 Mpa, and the amount of materials for the best result are 1528g of polluted sand, 200ml of water, 250g of clay, 250g of urea and 200g of calcium. 2024-07-30T08:12:46Z 2024-07-30T08:12:46Z 2015 Resource Types::text::Final Year Project https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/33020 en application/pdf |
