Summary: | The performance of high speed electrical Multi Slot Amplitude Coding (MSAC) technique with cost efficient intensity modulation/direct detection (IM/DD) in an optically amplified communication system is presented. Simulation setups of 3�10Gbit/s, 4�10Gbit/s, and 5�10Gbit/s MSAC have been investigated.
