The effect of supported materials on characterization and mechanical properties of red soil
This research focuses on the red soil / aluminium oxide (RS / A12O3) and red soil / iron (III) oxide (RS / Fe2O3) as oxygen carriers, and the characterization and the mechanical properties of the samples when the mass ration were varied. The RS / A12O3 and RS / Fe2O3 powders were prepared using dry...

Summary: | This research focuses on the red soil / aluminium oxide (RS / A12O3) and red soil / iron (III) oxide (RS / Fe2O3) as oxygen carriers, and the characterization and the mechanical properties of the samples when the mass ration were varied. The RS / A12O3 and RS / Fe2O3 powders were prepared using dry impregnation method. Red soil was used as soil is a type of natural ores which is abundantly available in the environment, and less research was conducted regarding red soil as oxygen carrier in CLC. The mass ratio of red soil and supporting materials were varied so that the best characterization and mechanical properties among the samples could be determined. |
