In this respect, the principles of Kirchhoff's law are introduced initially. This paper presents the modelling of numerical relay based on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for current measuring elements. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) has been used for the designing of the proposed differential relay for reliable performance and acquired primary current signals which is close to the secondary current signals of the current transformer (CT).
