Therefore, in this research, the hydrological analysis is being conducted in that area and five extreme flood disasters are chosen for validating the analysis. The preliminary event-based and gauge-based analysis is shown in this research for validation. The results showed that during the disasters in 2008, 2009, 2014, 2016, and 2017 shows that this hydrological analysis will be a significant element for the National Flood Forecasting and Warning System (NaFFWS) program for Malaysia. � 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
