Better performance of multiwavelength spectrum has been obtained when utilizing the Lyot filter as it generates more lasing lines of 84 spectral lines within 5 dB bandwidth, while the SLM interferometer generated lesser lasing lines of 61 channels within 5 dB bandwidth. Both comb filters have almost similar values in peak power, while the extinction ratio of 12 dB and 16.3 dB for Lyot and SLM interferometer, respectively. Ultimately, a stable multiwavelength performance has been obtained for both comb filters, with only 0.57 dB of peak power fluctuation within 2 hours of the stability test. � 2022 IEEE.
