Hence this paper presents a study on the radiation shielding properties of UHPC after exposure to elevated temperature. It was found that the half-value layer and tenth value layer of both types of UHPC tested had increased by 7682%, which was attributed to the excessive spalling and cracking that occurred. Magnetite was found to be slightly better than silica sand for radiation shielding. 2020 Elsevier Ltd Final 2023-05-29T08:06:58Z 2023-05-29T08:06:58Z 2020 Article 10.1016/j.conbuildmat.2020.120567 2-s2.0-85089847147 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85089847147&doi=10.1016%2fj.conbuildmat.2020.120567&partnerID=40&md5=ec83dabc1043abb449e59a4dcc277cb4 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/25148 262 120567 All Open Access, Green Elsevier Ltd Scopus |
