In fact, researcher did investigation experimentally and computationally by manipulates the factors of causing the swirl imbalance but the problem still occurred nowadays. In this project, the factor of furnace geometry was selected to be manipulate for investigate the relationship between the geometries’ aspect ratios, the slanted angles towards the effects of swirling pattern. Scaled down furnace geometries has been defined and generated to evaluate the differences in terms of how aspect ratio and angle of slanted roof effects on the swirling pattern. The CFD simulation using ANSYS Fluent software simulates the fuel combusted with air forming tangential firing ball at the centre. The discussion of this project will based on temperatures and velocities throughout the furnace, by comparing the graphs and diagrams to find out the relationship among them towards symmetric swirling.
