However, there are some problems such as the MRF sedimentation, the damper design and the electromagnet design. This study was performed to analysed the comparison of MRF mixture composition and also the effectiveness of MR damper compared to original one. Some things need to consider for the MRF mixture such as the concentration of the MRF and the type of additives used to reduce the sedimentation. Several samples were prepared to find the best composition of MRF mixture. The motorcycle damper must undergo modification for the MRF to run smoothly. A few procedures were required before running the damper test such as creating a hook for the damper and design an electromagnet for on-state condition. In this study, permanent magnet will be used to create magnetic field for the damper.
