One of the situations is when a person has a personal job to do outside the home or out of the reach, the person has to take care of his/her pet at home in order to maintain pet’s health. However, to do so, the automatic pet feeder is invented to ease a person job. For this project, the Robotic IoT pet feeder is created to fill the objective in that field. The automatic pet feeder can be controlled by using phone away from home. The system is controlled by using Raspberry Pi where all the components needed for the device. For monitoring purpose, the camera is installed to monitor the amount of food inside the bowl and pet’s activities. The camera can record for all day long when the person is not at home. To control the opening of the food to flow, the linear actuator is used. The linear actuator is controlled by using the Blynk application on the phone.
