my.uniten.dspace-215612023-05-04T17:29:17Z Design and Develop Self-Assembly Robot Hardware, Algorithm and Software Alhasan Ali M.W Self Assembly Robot Boxes FYP 2 SEM 2 2019/2020 This research project presents the hardware, algorithm and software of two self- assembly robots called the robot boxes (BoxA and BoxB), a 7 cm x 7 cm x 7 cm robot boxes capable of determining the distance to each other by using Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) with a range of less than 50 cm. the robot boxes have the ability of creating communication channels to transmit and receive data from one to another In this process master mode HC-05 Bluetooth is used for BoxA and slave mode HC-05 Bluetooth is used for BoxB. In addition, the robot boxB capable of independent locomotion in all different directions (in front, back, right and left) while BoxA is fixed on its position. Robot BoxB can move along all the faces except the top face.
