A lasing system which aims to generate the EDFA based multiwavelength random fiber lasers is proposed and demonstrated that consists of several optical components and optical fibers. Besides, EDFA based multiwavelength random fiber laser is further analyzed through the multiwavelength output laser spectrum by using optical spectrum analyzer (OSA). Single mode fiber (SMF) length is the main design parameter that can give impacts on the overall performance of generated EDFA based multiwavelength random fiber laser. In addition, the random distributed feedback in most of the multiwavelength random fiber lasers is Rayleigh backscattering which amplified through the stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) effect [1]. Lasing stability of multiwavelength random fiber lasers is very crucial in such a way that the multiwavelength flatness of output laser spectrum could be achieved throughout the experimental lasing operations. Furthermore, the multiwavelength generation of EDFA based random fiber laser is limited by the homogenous gain broadening at room temperature.
