A system proposed is a Smart Maintenance Monitoring (E-Jobsheet) for TNB Substation. This system will help a technician to clock-in and clock-out from his work by tapping an RFID card. The system also provides an email notification that consist of jobsheet in PDF form once the technician taps his ID onto a RFID reader. The system also will send out an email that consist of a link for the technician to update his progress work. The system is made up of Raspberry Pi 3 Model B act as microcomputer, RFID reader and LCD. The function of the Raspberry Pi is to store all the data recorded by the RFID and also to keep all data related to jobsheet. The function of the RFID is to allow the system to record the clock-in and clock-out of the technician. LCD will display a message across it to notify the technician whenever he wants to tap his ID. Besides, this thesis will also discuss on the usage of MySQL and how the interaction between RFID and MYSQL can be done. The implications of this system can be seen as it will save more time for the technician as he can go straight away to the substation and receive a jobsheet email. Besides, considering that this project can be implemented by TNB, it will benefit on TNB side itself as it will save more cost.
