In this thesis, the total carbon emissions that are released by the transportation activities from the total population inside the campus is calculated. The data needed to conduct this research is obtained from the survey questionnaires given to a number of students and staffs. The sample size for the survey is 180 respondents from the overall population in the campus. The emission factors for different types of vehicles such as car, motorcycle, bus and aeroplane are being used for the calculations. It is noticeable that car is the main transport that is being used by the staffs and the students. As from the calculations, it is understood that the total number of carbons emissions in kgCO2e is 8,249,567.47 which is higher from the previous studies which is 4,500,000 kgCO2e [1]. Other than that, the average emission per person for both student and staffs is also being determined which is 2.06 MtCO2e. This is quite low as compared to that of University of Maryland and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which is around 3.29 MtCO2e and 2.78 MtCO2e respectively but a little bit higher compared to VNIT Nagpur campus and University of Cape Town [2][3][4][5]. 2023-05-03T16:39:09Z 2023-05-03T16:39:09Z 2020-02 Resource Types::text::Final Year Project https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/21348 en application/pdf
