Summary:This thesis basically gives the report about an alternative solution to simulate the incompressible flow in PEM fuel cell cathode channel using the freebase software called Python besides using the ANSYS FLUENT software. The data from python solver will then be used to be compared with Fluent analysis to measure the precision. From this comparison, we will further correlate the results to obtain definitiveness like correlation. In chapter 1, a brief description was given about the PEM Fuel cell and the function of it. PEM Fuel Cell widely been used in various industries for more than eight decades. Among the various energy sources, hydrogen is considered as one of the clean energy carrier which also believed as a potential alternative fuel for automobiles due to low carbon emission which can significantly improve energy security and domestic economy. The chapter 2 is about the list of journal and articles been listed for references to conduct the project. To understand more about the project, about ten journals from various resources has been collected and revised. Next, a literature review has been done for each journal to conclude the overall journal. Next, chapter 3 discusses about the flowchart to make this project a success. Each and every steps have been listed out to make sure number of errors and mistakes to be reduced. The results and discussion been done at chapter 4. Few graphs been constructed to make sure the discussion of the project can be done thoroughly. Based on the results, the project has been concluded at chapter 5. Besides that, few suggestions has been given which can be improvised in this project.
