The automated curtain system is a system that would connect the curtains to the mobile application. This thesis would focus on the currently available solutions for automated curtains and the improvement that could be done on the current system and discuss the preference of users for the automated curtain system. Surveys had been handed out in order to know what a general user would expect for an automated curtain system. A clamping system had been designed in order to solve the problem of different window railing sizes. At the end of the thesis, a design is fabricated and tested on its capabilities. The components that are used for the design, as well as the programming that are used, are documented in this thesis.
