Different weightage ratio (Wt%) of fibers was used to investigate the effect on the mechanical performance of the composites. Compression molding method is utilized to fabricate the composite specimens. During the fabrication process, alkaline treatment is done in this research to remove unwanted elements from the fiber and improve the interlocking between the fibers. Hence, better results could be obtained. In overall, the higher composition of fibers has improved the tensile and flexural strength of the composites.
