The 2D turbine blade cascades contained non-equilibrium condensation in the flow area. The main purpose of the work presented in this thesis is to study the behaviour of the wet steam in the steam turbine mainly in the cascades when varying different parameters such as turbulence model and inlet conditions. The linear cascades consist of the stator blades at the last stage (low pressure) steam turbine. The parameters and the value used in this work is based on the real conditions of the steam turbines in the industry. Schlieren pictures were used to assess the contours and line formation of flow field and compared it to the result obtained for validation. The in-house CFD codes is used as to calculate the result. The software used is ANSYS Fluent and it solves Naiver-Stokes equations. Two cases will be involved in finding the least formation of wet steam or liquid mass fraction which is varying turbulence model and inlet conditions. The study of wet steam is important for the future of power generation industry as it helps to create a better efficiency turbine with least defects such as erosion. The data obtained is compared based on the contours and table generated. 2023-05-03T16:31:35Z 2023-05-03T16:31:35Z 2020-02 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/21307 application/pdf
