Image segmentation technique is cost-effective and will be more suitable as the program will be more particularized to mathematical processing of image. In this study, image segmentation technique is used to characterize the images of electrical bridge that is formed in power transformer insulation oil. Images will be processed, and measurement of parameters will be done to segmented image as to determine the condition of power transformer insulation oil.
