In most operation of palm oil mill, large amount of biomass are being produce such as empty fruit Bunch(EFB), Mesocarp fiber (MF) and Kernel Shell (KS). Generally, palm oil mills in Malaysia utilise their biomass residue as fuel to generate electricity for their in-house energy.
