Summary:Electrical Prepay System Graphical User Interface (GUI) is designed to be an online credit reloading system for the electrical prepayment system (namely STABIL of Tenaga Nasional Berhad), which utilizes the smart card as a medium for credit reload and data transfer from the prepay meter, as well as customer identification. The project employs the use of GCL8000 contactless smart card together with the suitable smart card reader, GCR680; the latter is connected to a personal computer that hosts the application. The application, written in Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, reads a certain sector of the customer smart card memory for customer identification and electricity consumption data, and also writes the value of credit reload as requested by the customer.
