New teaching aid for mechanic dynamics : Design of demonstration prototype for projectile motion

This thesis presents the design of a demonstration a prototype for projectile motion. Basically, this project presents prototype and demonstrations. Major concern for this project requires students to understand the theory of projectile motion and to fabricate a prototype demonstration that brings the projectile motion concepts to life. This thesis also, describes all materials required and recommended procedures for the prototype. However, also included a discussion of teaching points appropriate based on demonstration or prototype. Furthermore, this study investigates changes in pre service students conceptions about projectile motion brought about by a combination of reading and demonstration and an appeal to usefulness. Therefore the main objective of this project is to choose the case study on the textbooks and came up with the prototype for mini demonstration.
