It is like a trend, most of the developed countries, or even developing countries are interested in constructing skyscraper building for instance. The structure of the building mainly using concrete and for the concrete ti achieve certain strength desired by the designer, curing process need to be done properly with sufficient amount of water. Most of the time, there is shortage in water supply and lots of other constraint especially in constructing building like skyscrapers. Hence, the external curing is not sufficient to the concrete and it needs internal curing so that the concrete will achieve its strength. Furthermore, waste diapers produced around the world is really huge, so this is also part of recycling practice that can be done. The objective of this project is to determine the work ability of the concrete with addition of diapers polymer by conducting Slump Test. To figure out the Compressive Strength of the concrete with addition of diapers polymer by performing Compressive Strength Test. Last but not least, to verify split tensile strength, changes in density and shrinkage of the concrete with addition of diapers polymer. Four batches of concrete prepared for this research, which were control mix (CM) batch where no diapers polymer added to the concrete samples, batch with addition of 1% diapers polymer, batch with 2% and lastly batch with addition of 3% diaper polymer. This research found and concluded that, the optimum percentage of diapers polymer to be added in the concrete is between 2% to 3%. 2023-05-03T15:17:30Z 2023-05-03T15:17:30Z 2019-10 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/20740 en application/pdf application/pdf |
