Rapid urbanization and economic has led the numbers of transportation vehicle increase and becoming a lethal contributor to Green House Gas (GHG) emission and it emits continuously worldwide. This project is about to design and develop of portable wind turbine system that can generate clean energy on a moving vehicle or any form of transportation. The main objective is to build a working and functional custom-made prototype that can withstand the strong wind speed on a moving vehicle. Design concepts are verify through Ansys Fluent simulation for the best design. Structural, air flow simulation and pressure were analyzed on Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) Ansys Workbench software. Using Arduino based microcontroller was used to measure Revolution per Minute (RPM) of the impeller wind turbine system during test. Based on result, it is proven that the prototype and the idea can be applicable for future transportation industry.
