Energy is no longer seen as a fundamental need for a society in any growing economy, but it has become more of a fundamental right. By having an appropriate specification for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems, it could improve the lifestyle at home or at home. Nowadays, most residential electrical devices are frequently used. Using electrical equipment, however, can result in costly electricity bills. This project will benefit the housing industry by implementing and exposing solar photovoltaic systems that can deliver better tariffs. By analyzing the costs of solar photovoltaic generation, which consists of solar component costs, operating and maintenance costs and labor costs, including residential energy demand, the best tariff process could be more efficient. In addition, as the system is programmed using MATLAB, the system can be easily changed according to the user's requirements. Apart from that, the calculation technique of the net present value (NPV) is used to determine the appropriate total expense for 20 years. For the solar PV generation scheme, two types of solar panels were implemented. The tariff levels are calculated using both solar PV generation systems. The tariff rates were calculated with the original value of 4 instances, 10%, 20% and 30%. Both of the complete costs are used to compare the Tariff A provided by TNB with the new tariff. This particular project is done to identify the suitable scheme and optimal PV size installation that can offer best tariff. 2023-05-03T15:12:34Z 2023-05-03T15:12:34Z 2019-10 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/20675 en application/pdf |
