Solid waste management can be described as the discipline involved in controlling solid waste generation, storage, collection, transfer, processing, and disposal. The waste management issue could be mitigated by adopting enhanced collection and transportation techniques and active participation of the community. This study was focusing on disposing the solid waste in the large drainage water system as it also enhancing the litter collector in relation by using smart device that called Internet of Things (IoT) or wireless sensor. Moreover, geometrical drawing and stress analysis are applied in this case of study by using Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) Creo Parametric software as one of the method that being used in this design development. The material that being chosen for the prototype is Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) which is lower in mass than the previous of design of litter collector that used Aluminium as the main material as the PVC can easily handle and carried around. Besides, the prototype has mounted a wireless sensor which indicates the current level of the solid waste in the prototype by notified the user through mobile phone.
