Looking at the history of portable temperature meters, it is expensive due to expensive circuitries in it. therefore many schools in Malaysia cannot afford to buy many portable temperature meters for the use of the students. Apart from this, it will be easier for the students to have a device which can measure voltage and also temperature at the same time rather than changing device to measure voltage and temperature separately. This project is interesting because an economical PIC need to be assemble to sustain the objective. At the same time, this portable temperature meter has to be combined with a voltmeter and also thermometer into a device which can measure temperature and voltage.
