Nicolas Fernandez Energy Harvesting Piezoelectric Renewable energy The design and development of energy harvesting from speed bump to wave propagator is a study conducted to evaluate the overall feasibility of producing such a system. The system aims to use high volume of traffic on major roads located within the proximity of a lake to harvest energy to power nearby outlets. Ideally the system will be feasible in providing power to small shop lots, billboards or even lightings around the lake to reduce costs. The study investigates the use of piezoelectric components in harvesting energy. Through thorough research and design, the system was modelled and a scaled down prototype is to be built accordingly to validate the theoretical analysis. Among the heavy considerations into the feasibility of the system is the costs, maintenance, effect on existing traffic and most importantly potential energy to be generated. From the simulated model and the prototype testing, the results were compared with studies conducted by other researchers. 2023-05-03T15:07:51Z 2023-05-03T15:07:51Z 2019-10 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/20601 application/pdf
