Hence, this advancement can be used to solve the problem proposed in this proposal report and since there are less awareness towards the development of door locking system. For this project, an android smartphone will activate the door locking system via Bluetooth technology. Within designated range from the Bluetooth module specification, the door locking system automatically unlock and lock the doorknob through android software. As the result, user can forget the problem on losing their keys since they can control the locking mechanism with their android smartphone. Furthermore, user can unlock the door using RFID car or tag that designated to bypass the locking mechanism when the android smartphone is not available. The main components that included in this project are an Arduino Mega, HC-05 Bluetooth module, MFRC522 RFID module and MG996R Servo Motor. For the HC05 Bluetooth Module to be interfaced by users, an Android Application must first be created. This application was made wholly from the system flowchart. For the Bluetooth interface, there are three main parts that must be considered which are the UNLOCK Button, LOCK Button and the PAIR Button. Each of the button programmed with a specific code in the MIT App Inventor. Meanwhile, for RC522 RFID module, the tags first must be scanned by the RFID Reader to obtain the Unique Identification (UID) for each tag. The RFID was connected to the Arduino first, then a simple code to obtain the UID was constructed and executed inside the Arduino IDE. When the UID has been identified, then the coding for the RFID can be continued inside the Arduino IDE. In contrast with previous project, this project improves the locking mechanism as it gives user 2 ways to access the door. Thus, this project then will create an open path to an efficient way on locking and unlocking a door. 2023-05-03T15:04:28Z 2023-05-03T15:04:28Z 2019-10 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/20535 en application/pdf |
