Description
Summary:This project objective is to design of an optical sensing system for measuring inhibitor content concentration in transformer oil. It includes a deep learning and combination of optical detection system with software development to apply the concept of optical sensing for inhibitor content detection. A detailed research was performed on the transmittance of inhibitor content of transformer oil. It was found that the peak absorbance to be at the 959 nm wavelength. This founding can lead to a wavelength of under 1000 nm detection method, which can be detected using silicon photodetector. A light source will be connected to the optical detector and processed to the microcontroller. A program was developed using python programming language in attempt to operate all the input or output control functions. A telegram application was develop to determine the inhibitor content concentration in transformer oil using a microcontroller because the system is convenient to be used by the user. The project was a success since it achieved all the required objectives.
