Not only that, but this research raises public awareness about the need of protecting women's rights. The researchers also used quantitative survey methods, and survey questionnaires were delivered to a sample of Malaysian women. The researchers collected 80 questionnaires from the respondents. Researchers evaluated questionnaire data with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Furthermore, the findings reveal that people agree that women are frequently harassed and sexually attacked by perpetrators, regardless of time, reason, or location. The study's findings also suggest that victims will endure trauma, lose self-confidence, give up on life, and feel guilty. Future researchers are encouraged to include both genders in this study, as both genders are prone to sexual harassment and assault, while case reports for men are lower than for women.
