Summary:Cyberbullying has increased as the technology has become more advanced where there are social media and communication technologies. Cyberbullying constantly happens on social media where people will always post their private information such as videos or images of them. Malaysia is also not left behind on this issue where cyberbullying also occurs in Malaysia and the community also uses social media to communicate with each other. Because cyberbullying happened to people, people's human rights also were violated because cyberbullying has violated their privacy and dignity. Cyberbullying also is very dangerous to people because it causes people to take their own lives and also the victims become stressed and depressed. Their education was affected because of cyberbullying. Generally, the purpose of this research is to know university students' perspectives regarding cyberbullying in Kuching. This research objective was focused on the impact of cyberbullying on victims in Kuching, Malaysia, the level of awareness of university students toward the form of cyberbullying in Kuching, Malaysia and the effect of cyberbullying from a human rights perspective. The target of this research was university students from the age of 18 to 36 from UNIMAS, regardless of their courses or faculty. The research method that was used in this research is a mixed-method and online questionnaire by Google Forms was used to collect the data from the respondents. This research also used a non-probability sampling method which is snowball sampling and descriptive research as research design. In general, it can be said that university students at Unimas think cyberbullying is an issue and cyberbullying also can lead to suicidal behaviour and also stress. Cyberbullying also can violate victims' human rights when cyberbullying steals their privacy or shares their private information.
