In this study, the author will proposed and designed a system framework for Child Tracking Management System (CTMS) to effectively and efficiently trace and monitor children's activities coverage by integrate with Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geofencing techniques in Geographical Information System (GIS) environment. In order to prove the concept is feasible, the prototype is developed according to the framework proposed and three geofencing techniques is implemented which are circle, rectangle and triangle. This system allow user to defined geofencing boundary on Google Map with these three techniques. This proposed system has the ability to visualize the current position of child on Google Map, determine whether the child is in the restricted area or whether the child has reach destination in predefined time, then alert parent with Short Message Service (SMS) through GSM network. There are four main modules in the system which are location acquisition, geofencing, user management and alert and reporting mechanism. The effectiveness and efficiency of system is tested in term of geofencing techniques, real-time alert and others basic functionalities. The data are analyzed into useful information and produce report for parent to view.
