Summary:This study was conducted in Limbang. The aim of the study is to see the socio-economic changes of the Kadavan community in Limbang. The problem of this study was similar as the journal title "Confidence of Ubian Language". This journal tells about the Uhiun connnunity as part of a minority tribe in Sabah. However, writing or exposure on this society is still in small scale compared to the minority Bajau ethnic of Sabah. Based on these problems, it is also similar to minorities Kadayan ethnic in Limbang. It had been proved that the involvement of the Kadavan community in development district of Limbang has been increasing. However, the socio-economic aspects of the Kadavan community are rarely highlighted by the conrnrrmity in Limbang, as well as related studies. In this research there are three objectives that have been achieved, which is to study the background of the Kadavan district of Lirahang, Sarawak; to identify the socioeconomic changes of the Kadavan community in Limbang district of Sarawak; and to evaluate the factors affecting the changing lives of the Kadavan comnrunih' in Limbang bused on socioeconomic aspects. This study uses a mix method that consist of qualitative and quantitative. For qualitative methods, researchers use library and archive research methods. In this incihod, researchers rely on secondary sources such as Limbang District Office, Limbang District Land and Survey Department and Kadavan Limbang Association. Meanwhile, ,for quantitative methods, researchers use questionnaires, interview methods and observations. In this method, the researcher has provided 60 printed questionnaires to he distributed to the respondents and researchers have also interviewed two high position respondents in Limbang Association of Kadavan. The results found that the community of Kadavan in Limbang had undergone a change in socio-economic and economic aspects. These changes include the Kadavan Year Dinner, farmers (paddy planting), traditional games, hunting equipment and, fishing gear. Additionally, aspects such as economy, education, basic amenities or infrastructure and development also cause changes in the livelihood of the Kadavan people in Limbang. Hoped this study on Limbang, Kadavan community can be jirrther expanded in the. firtu re so that the nC. v-t generation will be able to know the traditions and customs of the Kadavan community.
