Description
Summary:The development of mobile devices has come a long way since the days where mobile phones are mainly used for making calls and sending texts. We can now implement the use of mobile phones in our daily lives for much for features such as taking pictures, managing our schedules and send or receive data through mobile data. Smartphone allows for much more customizable features to be explored especially with an open source system like the Android operating system. To further utilize the features of a Smartphone, a unified home controller app which could interact with a house electrical circuit could be handy. This project enables the use of the Smartphone's Bluetooth transmitter to send instruction to a microcontroller, in this case, an Arduino Uno for turning switches on/off Everyone with a Smartphone with Android OS that has Bluetooth can readily use this developed application with a few configuration for the Arduino Uno. The application is simple and has a quick reaction time.
