Summary:The research aims to examine on the barriers that hinder from the career advancement of female employees in OCBC Al-Amin. In this research, we will review the barriers which include work- life balance and mentoring support. In the research a total of 312 questionnaires were submitted through Google Form. Pearson's analysis and multiple regression analysis were used for this research. The final result shows that the two variables, work-life balance and mentoring support has a significant relationship with women's career advancement. As such for future research, other factors could be considered that this includes broader field or industry, different level of female employees, ratio of race in Malaysia and also corporate practices and corporate culture.
