This study adopted a correlational research design with a simple random sampling technique. A Pearson correlation was used in this research to analyse the relationships between variables. This research found a significant relationship between adult attachment avoidance, and authoritative and permissive parenting style. This research also found a significant relationship between authoritarian parenting style and adult attachment anxiety. It is suggested for future researchers to be conducted qualitatively with an in-depth interview as it could help the researcher to get more insights on this area through one-to one discussion between interviewer and respondents.
