This adsorbent is able to remove both contaminants with equilibrium time of I and 2 h for Congo red dye and copper (Il) ion, respectively. The adsorption kinetic data are modeled using Pseudo-first-order and Pseudosecond-order kinetic models. The kinetic data for both contaminants are well fitted to the Pseudo-second-order kinetic model with correlation coefficient, R, of at least 0.999 and 0.997 for Congo red dye and copper (II) ion, respectively. The adsorbent is characterized using Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectroscopy Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Microscope Analysis, Particle Size Analysis and Acid and Base Analysis .
