This research is an attempt in exploring the aesthetic effects of postreduction through barrel firing towards ceramics surface. The study focuses on analyzing the impact of the reduction on ceramics surface. The research outcome was achieved through data collection, the comparative incurred and observations which was further analyzed before deciding for the final work. The exploration of the aesthetic effects involves with burnishing technique, the right choice of clay, right firing temperatures and the comparitive result from the various materials employed during reduction firing. It was implied that the findings from this study are to be used as a reference for future students whom are interested to investigate on alternative firings.
