The overall study was conducted to empower the ritual practice of older generations ngetas ranyai by Iban as cultural heritage Iban community in Sarawak. Among the specific objectives are to study the concept of tradition and modern ranyai the Iban community in the Lubok Antu district and identify factors change ngetas ranyai ritual practice among the Iban community. This research was made in the area of Lubok Antu. This study used qualitative methods in depth interview method which is the method used in the data collection process. The study also involves three informants who are experts and experienced in the customs and culture of the Iban community. The results of this study can serve as a guide to students and researchers will come on the cultural heritage of the Iban community. In addition, this study also provide exposure on the practice ngetas ranyai ceremony for the foundation and create awareness about the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of a people.
