| Summary: | The reputation of a museum depends on the importance of the collection of the exhibition at the museum and the methods used to exploit publicly. This is a study on the management system of the museum institution in preserving the displayed collections : a case study on the Museum of Kelantan. This research is done to study the methods used in the preservation of the display, identifying the factors that affect the display’s condition, and analysing the selection as well as the way of organizing the display in order to attract the visitor. This research was translated with the use of methods in collecting data with primary data through interviews, documentations and secondary data by using books, journals and online database. Interviews were conducted to museum staffs which are the deputy curator and the assistant administrative officer. The result of this research concludes that the exhibit collections need to be managed carefully with explicit and systematic method as it plays a crucial role in maintaining and preserving the quality of the artifacts in the museum. |
