Literature is a platform for delivering messages that are the issues or issues that occur in society. Teori Pengkaedahan Melayu is one of the theoretical literature critics specially designed to study the identity of the Malays especially in Malaysia. The unique and complex nature of the Malays around the world has become a very interesting study in finding the characteristics and values of the Malay language itself. Through the novel Anding Ayangan is a novel thriller will show continuity between the characteristics and value of humor that is very synonymous with the teachings of Islam. Islam is one of the markings of Malay identity in Malaysia. Clearly enshrined in the Malaysian Constitution that Malays can be seen in the Malay language used, professing Islam and practicing the Malay way of life.
