When it come towards the requirement, smartphones and the other smart devices such as tablet have such ability to run most of the requirement in a single pocket device that can be carry around and take that anywhere with us. Basically, most people used smartphone to help ease their workload in daily life. One of the examples, most people used smartphone to search for information and navigation. Nevertheless, not every application can provide Augmented Reality (AR) features to provide more information towards user. The objective this project is about developing an Augmented Reality app that allow user scan marker or image and displaying more informative features. The area to be examine is Kuching City, Sarawak. In addition, the objective of this project is to add AR feature in the current Kuching City Free Map (Fifth Edition 2019) brochure by scanning the image on the map brochure. The development of the project will be implemented by following the process according to Rapid Application Development (RAD) model.
