Summary: | The aim of this paper is wood production process in Sarawak, Malaysia. Sarawak is the highest wood production among the states in Malaysia due to the huge forest area. In order to increase the efficiency of wood production, an improved FMEA methodology with Fuzzy C-Means is used as risk evaluation tool to identify every failure mode exists in the process. The process of wood production is elaborated in this paper. The data and information are collected from the timber industry called Hap Choon Timber Industry which located in Sibu, Sarawak. Through this paper, an important contribution is made to the modernization of timber industry in Sarawak. |
