Summary: | This study is concerned about the automation of the regulation of hydroponic system. Automation is the
creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services. It is very important and essential key factor to ensure the precision and correctness during production and delivery of products and services. Hydroponics is a way of growing plants in a water medium instead of using soil. Hydroponic system requires precision, patient and regular monitoring, which is considered as a hassle to most of the people. Smart Grow is a smart, automated hydroponic system, integrated with Internet-of-Things (IoT) that can help to monitor and regulate the environment of the hydroponic system. The system is powered by multiple sensors, which are pH sensor, electrical conductivity (EC) sensor, and ultrasonic sensors. These sensors are connected to a microcontroller, ESP32 by Espressiff, and manage the automation process of the regulation of hydroponic environment. By using this system, user can spend more time doing their personal stuff while able to grow their
favourite plants without any hassle. |
