In this era, the website acts as a platform for promoting an event is the most popular for users and event organiser. In UNIMAS, many events conducted by the student which is a Sports Exco from each UNIMAS College such as Bunga Raya College, Sakura College, Cempaka College, Tun Ahmad Zaidi College, Dahlia College, Rafflesia College, and also Seroja College. Each of this college has their organisation chart, which is Sport Exco. The responsibility of a Sport Exco is to conduct and handle a sports event such as Run Marathon (5km/8km), Explore Race in a team, Zumba Sports, and other sports event for once or more in every semester. The purpose of conducting this event is to help and assist UNIMAS students to take a break from academics and release the stress from doing assignment and projects. However, most of the Sports Exco used to handle the event management with the traditional way which is more challenging to manage using a traditional system such as google form, using the paper form to register, spreadsheets, traditional database and more. Therefore, in order to the drawback of this traditional system, an online sports event management system is proposed to overcome the functionality of an event manager. This project aims to develop a web application to simplify the process of handling each sports event by providing a web interface for admin college. According to the literature review, there is research on the existing application that allows admin to handle the event management in the online system. The methodology used to develop the proposed application is the Prototyping Model. A questionnaire form was carried out by using a google form to collect the requirement and feedback on the proposed system. Lastly, the significance of the work is that Sport Exco able to conduct the event on the website to promote their event and the lesser student will be hesitant to participate the event by using online registration that provided in the website.
